My name is Louise Reid, I am so excited to begin this journey with you! I am a mom to one son Nathaniel who is 5 and also work as a nurse in a medical Office. I have 6 years combined nursing experience in post-partum, neonatal and pediatric care, and as a next step in my career I decided to persue a certficate in childbirth education.
I have attended over 50 deliveries during my time as a nurse and enjoy seeing and supporting mothers through that transition. I will be looking for 3-5 couples to tae a childbirth education series led by myself for my certification process. This class will be free of charge to these lucky 5 families.
I am currently obtaining my Childbirth Educator Certificate and would love to begin making contacts with families and expectant moms.

Childbirth Educators
ICEA certified childbirth educators have verified that they have the necessary knowledge and experience to enable them to facilitate expectant parents' mental and physical preparation for pregnancy, labor, birth and parenthood. This program promotes the concept of the childbirth educator as an advocate of the natural process of childbirth and the right of the expectant parent to make informed choices based on the knowledge of alternatives.
ICEA
The International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) is a professional organization that supports educators and health care professionals who believe in freedom to make decisions based on knowledge of alternatives in family-centered maternity and newborn care.
